Letter of Co-Secretary Generals
Esteemed delegates and distinguished participants,
First of all, it is a great pleasure for us to welcome you to the third annual session of ÇAPAMUN. As Melis Önez and Miraç Sarıel (the saviors of the MUN community), we are proud to serve as this year's leaders of ÇAPAMUN to prepare you an unforgettable conference. We can sincerely say that we have put our best of efforts to make a phenomenal contribution to the legacy of the past years.
This year, our primary objective is to provide you with the most exceptional mun experience possible - like we did in past two years - , while adhering to the sustainable development goals of the United Nations and promoting world peace. As Co-Secretaries General, we are honoured to be working towards these goals. We are working closely with our organisation and academic team to achieve our aims.
As Joint Secretary Generals, we have prepared our committees with all our experience to ensure that you remember this unforgettable experience in the best way possible. Briefly speaking, 2 General Assemblies where fruitful discussions will be held and solutions to our current global problems will be produced; 5 Special Committees where we make the best combination of procedure and crisis, produced with original ideas that you will not witness anywhere else; and finally 3 Crisis Committees where you will feel the chaos, crisis and action to your depths based on our motto “ÇAPAMUN is a crisis nest.” We are dedicated to glorify this conference for you.
In recent years, the MUN community has faced challenges that have tested its integrity and purpose. However, it is in times of difficulty that true leadership emerges. As dedicated individuals passionate about diplomacy and global affairs, we stand as the ones who will restore and elevate the spirit of MUN. It is through our collective efforts that we will revive meaningful debates, uphold the core values of this community, and inspire a new generation of leaders.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all those who have contributed to making this conference possible—the hardworking academic and organization teams, the advisors, and, most importantly, you, our dear participants. Your dedication and enthusiasm are what keep the essence of MUN alive.
